Aaron Gustine begins his secoind year as an assistant coach for the Earlham College men’s soccer program in 2016.
Gustine aided head coach Sam Byrd in returning the Quakers to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament. Overall, Earlham finished 9-7-1 and 6-2-1 in HCAC competition.
Gustine comes to Earlham from Emory & Henry College where he served as an assistant coach during the 2014 season.
Gustine graduated from Ferrum College (Va.) with a degree in business and a minor in economics. A four-year letterman for the men’s soccer program, Gustine is Ferrum’s career leader for goals scored (31), assists (15), and points (77). For his efforts, Gustine was a three-time All-USA South honoree.
Gustine has been involved with club level soccer for nine years. He has coached with Valley AFC out of Roanoke, Va., and has assisted with other youth programs as well.
He resides in Richmond.
