ST. LOUIS – Earlham College men's tennis sent a contingent to the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Central Region Championship, hosted by Washington University (Mo.) at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center.
Sophomore Brandon Giordanelli posted the lone victory for the Quakers in Friday's first day of competition, knocking off Ohio Wesleyan's Phillipos Alevizopoulos, 6-2, 6-3.
Lawson remains alive in the tournament, and will face Ohio Wesleyan's Billy Lewis in a consolation bracket match on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
