Women's Basketball defeated at Bluffton

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Missed shots plauged Earlham in their 63-53 loss against Bluffton on the road. 

Earlham shot well below their season average in this matchup. The Quakers went 25.7 percent from field-goal range when they are averaging 38.2 percent, and 17.4 percent from three, 12.5 percentage points below their season average.

Bluffton's bench outscored Earlham's 21-12. Kayla Bowling lead the Quakers in scoring with 15 points. Camryn White and Zoe Curtis each had 10 points tying for second highest scorers. White's seven rebounds were team-leading as well.

Earlham won the turnover battle. They forced 17 turnovers by the Beavers while only giving the ball up 13 times. Earlham also won in rebounding. The Quakers tallied 45 rebounds while Bluffton only earned 36.

Saturday, December 8 women's basketball returns home to match up with Manchester at 2pm. They are currently 1-1 in conference.
