SEYMOUR, Indiana – The Earlham College women's golf team finished in eighth place at the Hanover College Invitational this weekend.
The Quakers finished the weekend with 751 strokes including a program record of 368 strokes in round one on Saturday (Sunrise Golf Course). Host Hanover won its invitational with a two-round team score of 657 strokes.
Sophomore Hannah Toresdahl finished in a tie for 14th place after a 36-hole score of 170 strokes. The West Des Moines, Iowa, native shot a career low round of 83 on Saturday. Fellow sophomore Aaron Monroe tied for 21st place after consecutive career low rounds of 89 and 86 (Shadowood Golf Course).
Earlham returns to action next weekend at the Transylvania University Invitational.
