TIFFIN, Ohio – The Earlham College women's golf team finished in 11th place at the two-day Heidelberg University Invitational hosted at Mohawk Golf and Country Club.
The Quakers finished their final round with a team score of 378 strokes on Sunday, and combined with their 380 from Saturday, Earlham conclude the tournament in 758 strokes. Earlham finished ahead of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) foes Mount St. Joseph University, Defiance College and Bluffton University while Manchester University took sixth place. Saint Mary's College (Indiana) won the tournament with a two-round score of 661 strokes.
Individually, sophomore Aaron Monroe was the Quakers' top finisher as she carded a round of 87 on Sunday to conclude the tournament in a tie for 19ths place. Fellow sophomores Emma Wilkins and Hannah Toresdahl finished in 42nds and 43rds place respectively.
The Quakers will travel to the Transylvania University Invitational next weekend before hosting the Earlham Fall Invitational to end the month of September.
