HANOVER, Ind. – Hanover College outscored Earlham College women's lacrosse 10-1 over the first 30 minutes and finished with a 13-2 win over the Quakers, in an Ohio River Lacrosse Conference contest on Wednesday afternoon in Hanover, Ind.
Olivia Wallace scored both goals for Earlham (1-5, 0-2 ORLC). She notched her first score of the day at the 20:38 mark of the opening half on a free position shot, cutting the Hanover lead to 4-1.
Wallace scored her final marker with 8:51 showing on the second half scoreboard, capping all scoring for the day.
Hanover (6-3, 3-0 ORLC) outshot Earlham, 31-8, and recorded 35 ground balls to the Quakers' 23.
Earlham goalie Jordan Blackburne charted 10 saves on 23 shots on goal, while Hanover's Amanda Mousa and Julia Long equally split the duties in the Panthers' goal and together tallied three stops.
The Quakers return to action on Saturday, March 31, when they travel to Crestview Hills, Ky., to face Thomas More College. Start time to the game is 1:00 p.m.
