GREENWOOD, Indiana – Earlham College women's soccer freshman Chloe Lamenzo has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Sept. 4-10.
Lamenzo scored three goals in her first collegiate home game as the Quakers routed MacMurray College 12-1 at Matlack-Messer Stadium. She also assisted on fellow freshman Erin Welsh's goal in the second half.
In Earlham's 4-0 shutout victory over Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Lamenzo opened the scoring in the 54th minute after the Quakers, despite 10 shots in the first half, failed to score in the opening 45 minutes.
Earlham (2-2-0) travels to Wilmington College for the Quaker Bowl rivalry on Wednesday evening. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
