Women's Tennis Opens HCAC Play With 9-0 Loss at Hanover

HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team opened Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play with a 9-0 loss at defending champion Hanover College on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior Arrita Domi and sophomore Kaitlin Morgan fell to Mackenzie Spicer and Susan Winternheimer 8-1 at first doubles. Junior Ziqi Wang and sophomore Robyn Thomas lost at third doubles by the same score. The Panthers took second doubles to complete the sweep.

In singles, Domi fell to Spicer 6-1, 6-0. Hanover took all other flights without surrendering a game.

Earlham continues its HCAC slate at home against Manchester University on Saturday. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
