Women's Tennis Falls to Trine

RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College women's tennis team fell to Central Region foe Trine University 8-1 this Sunday.

The Quakers kept things close early in doubles, but eventually ended up losing all three matches 8-3. Seniors Lexi Aligarbes and Kaitlin Morgan played one. Senior Arrita Domi and freshman Alexandra Canaday teamed up for their second match of the season at second doubles. Juniors Yunjoo Shin and Chloe Culler rounded out the lineup at third doubles.

Shin was the Quakers lone win at third singles, taking the match 6-3, 7-5. Canaday had a strong showing in singles, losing the first set tiebreaker 9-7. She fell 6-4 in the second. Freshman Kathryn Hulleman made her college tennis debut at six singles.

Earlham will look to bounce back this Wednesday with a home match against Capital University.
