RICHMOND, Ind. – Four members of the Earlham women's tennis team were recognized with Scholar-Athlete honors by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) when the association's list of post-season academic honors was announced Tuesday.

Arrita Domi, Yunjoo Shin, Kathryn Hulleman, and Kaitlin Morgan all received ITA Scholar-Athlete status by virtue of having a 3.50-or-better GPA for the current academic year.

In addition, Earlham Women's Tennis received an ITA All-Academic Team award for recording a 3.20-or-better GPA during the 2017-18 academic year. Earlham was one of three women's tennis programs in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) to receive the ITA All-Academic Team accolade, joining Rose-Hulman and Transylvania.

This is believed to be the first time Earlham women's tennis has received the ITA All-Academic Team designation.

Earlham Women's Tennis posted a 7-8 overall record in its 2017-18 season, including a 2-5 mark in HCAC matches. The Quakers earned a berth in the HCAC Women's Tennis Tournament, falling to Rose-Hulman in the quarterfinals.
