RICHMOND, Ind. - The Earlham College cross country team has released its schedule for the upcoming 2016 season.
"We know there will be some transition and a lot of learning new things this fall – for all of us" said Rob Hewitt, Co-Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach. "We put together a schedule that provides the athletes the opportunity to develop throughout the season."
The Quakers will travel to Bloomington, Ind., for an in-state six-kilometer/eight-kilometer showdown at the Indiana Intercollegiates meet on Friday, September 16 before returning to Richmond to host the Earlham Invitational (four-kilometer/six-kilometer) on Oct. 1.
"We are excited to get down to business and we think the schedule we have will give us the opportunity to work on all aspects of cross-country racing and prepare the teams well for our championship season in October and November," said Claire Hewitt, Co-Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach.
