RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College men's and women's soccer programs' new home is on its way to completion for the upcoming fall season for the Quakers.
The new Matlack-Messer Stadium will see its first year of play this fall. Named after former Earlham men's soccer coaches Charlie Matlack (1954-78) and Roy Messer (1981-2014), the stadium comes equipped with a press box, lockers rooms, coaches' offices, bleachers, and other amenities.
The men's soccer team opens its 2017 campaign at Matlack-Messer Stadium against Heidelberg University in Sept. 1. The women's team plays at Ohio Wesleyan University and at Trine University before hosting MacMurray College in the home-opener on Sept. 7.
