Earlham College

This accomplished team lead by Head Coach George Van Dyke posted Earlham’s first perfect record on the diamond at 9-0. The Quakers earned two victories each against the much-larger Ball State, Butler and Miami universities. According to the 1994 Hall of Fame inductee Robert Davis ’38, professional baseball scouts were in regular attendance and two members of the team signed contracts.
