Earlham College

William Newcomb can still be found in the Earlham College track record book. A 1968 graduate, Newcomb, was a 4-year letterwinner and currently holds Earlham’s shot put record at 52 feet and ½ inch. He won events at the Great Lakes Colleges Association Championships, the Hoosier Collegiate Conference and placed in the Indiana Little State meet in the discus.
