Earlham College

A well-known name at Earlham, she began her career in 1915. During her first year at Earlham she organized the Women’s Athletic Association. Clara Comstock served as the dean of women from 1930 to 1949, and she introduced women’s field hockey to the Earlham student body. Comstock Field and the Comstock Room are named in honor of her.
