Earlham College

Before Del Harris became a longtime coach in the NBA, he coached Earlham basketball for nine sensational years from 1965 to 1974. Under his direction, the Quakers won 175 games against only 70 losses, plus three Hoosier College Conference Championships and a District NAIA crown. Harris left Earlham to enter professional basketball. He served a stint as head coach of the Houston Rockets before joining the Milwaukee, Dallas, and Chicago organizations.
