Earlham College

In 2017, Howie Smith led Earlham College baseball to a historic season, earning Heartland Collegiate Athletics Association Pitcher of the Year honors and helping secure the program’s first-ever conference championship.

Howie played a pivotal role in guiding Earlham to its first NCAA Tournament appearance and victory. His outstanding performance on the mound and leadership throughout the season solidified his place in Earlham baseball history.
