Jodie Bauman was a four-year letter winner in volleyball while also playing a year of basketball and softball. She was an outstanding player not only in the NCAC but also received national recognition as the number four hitter in the NCAA Division III. During her volleyball career she racked up a school record of 1,505 kills and 1803 digs. In addition, she was an all-NCAC first team player in 1989, 1990 and 1991. In her first season at Earlham, Bauman played softball and was the team’s most improved player. In addition to volleyball, her sophomore season she also played basketball, receiving recognition as the team’s most valuable player and an NCAC honorable mention player in the 1989-90 season.
