Robert Davis was an excellent pitcher and hitter on the Earlham College baseball team. He was a member of the undefeated 1937 squad and the teams leading batter in 1938. A four-year letterman in baseball and a three-year letterman in basketball, Bob was a member of the EE Club. After he graduated, Bob coached high school basketball, baseball and golf at New Lisbon and Milton, Ind. His 1954 Milton basketball team upset Richmond in the sectional and advanced to regional play. Later, Bob became the athletic director at Cambridge City Lincoln High School in Indiana. He devoted more than 40 years of his life to coaching and athletic administration.
