A four-year starter in football at both left halfback and left cornerback, Ronald Morgan led the Quakers in rushing during his junior and senior seasons. He added four letters in track as a superb sprinter with best times of 9.9 seconds in the 100-yard dash and 21.7 seconds in the 220-yard dash. He placed at both distances in the 1961 and 1962 Indiana State meets, while also anchoring the Earlham 440-yard and 880-yard relay teams. Morgan continued his educational pursuits after Earlham, earning an MBA from Xavier University and a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University. He served as chairperson of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission from 1976-86. Morgan is a successful lawyer at Morgan & Associates Co., L.P.A. in Hamilton, Ohio.
