GAMBIER, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team fell to Kenyon College 3-0 in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action on Saturday afternoon.
The Ladies (11-2, 8-1 NCAC) scored two unassisted goals in the first half as Katelyn Hutchinson netted her 10th goal of the season in the sixth minute and Zoe Chrissos doubled the hosts' lead at the 23:08 mark. Midway through the second half, Weezie Foster scored the game's final goal by tipping in a pass from Hannah Sklar.
Earlham was outshot 20-0 in the contest including a 5-1 edge for Kenyon in corner kick. Sophomore goalkeeper Camille van der Vaart made six saves.
The Quakers (3-8, 2-7 NCAC) face Ohio Wesleyan University tomorrow (Sunday) at noon.
