ANDERSON, Ind, - Anderson gets the best of Earlham men's basketball in a 91-68 win over the Quakers at home.
Earlham had difficulty getting the ball in the hoop and much of that can be attributed to Anderson's defense. The Quakers had very few uncontested shots and Anderson's post players stood tall in the paint. Earlham shot 36.8 percent from field goal range and 25 percent from the 3-point arc.
In all other categories, Anderson topped Earlham. The Ravens had nine more rebounds, seven more assists and 12 more points in the paint. Anderson's shooting percentages were 51.9 percent from field-goal range and 44.4 percent from three.
Quwai Rucker and Isaiah Ware lead the team in scoring with 11 points each. Kenneth Stalling came off the bench and scored 10, the second highest point total of them game.
Conference play resumes for Earlham on December 5 at home against Bluffton. Tipoff will be at 7:30pm.
