Men's Soccer Season Ends With 4-0 Loss to Manchester

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Earlham College men's soccer team ended its 2016 season with a 4-0 loss to Manchester University on Saturday afternoon.

The first half started off with rake Dewitt netting a shot 14 minutes into the game. Luke Headings scored another goal for Manchester with an assist from Adrian Mulenga one minute before the first half ended.

Leading 2-0 at halftime, Tom Oram then came in with an assist from DeWitt at 76 minutes in putting the game at 3-0. Chris Hosier scored the final goal of the game at the 84:31 mark.

Earlham managed just three shots in the game while Manchester took 15. Sophomore goalkeeper Peter Kashatus helped Earlham excel in saves, as he managed seven opposed to Spartans' goalie, Brady Forman, who saved two shots.

The Quakers finish their 2016 season with a 6-11 overall record and a 2-7 mark in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play.
