ELSAH, Ill. – Earlham College men's soccer was unable to find the back of the goal against host Principia College and fell to the Panthers, 2-0, on Saturday at the Principia Soccer Field.
Principia's Kaleb Keller put the Panthers on the scoreboard in the 68th minute with an unassisted goal. His brother, Kaden, put Principia up 2-0 in the 80th minute, with Kaleb getting credit for an assist.
The Panthers outshot the Quakers, 19-4, and had a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Earlham keeper Colin Kaurich played all 90 minutes in goal for the Quakers, charting three saves. Principia's Nick Klusmeyer was not credited with a save over 90 minutes in the Panthers' goal.
Earlham men's soccer is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 21, when the Quakers face Spalding University in a 3:00 p.m. road contest.
