Men's Tennis Facing Kentucky Foes on the Road This Weekend

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's tennis team travels to Kentucky for two away matches this weekend, at Georgetown at 3 p.m. on Friday and at Berea at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

The Teams: Earlham, Georgetown, and Berea. The Quakers stand at 4-7 on the season after a 1-3 stint in Florida where Earlham lost two of its matches by a score a 5-4. The Tigers are 3-8 and went 2-1 on their spring trip to Hilton Head, S.C. The Mountaineers are 0-4 on the season.

The Coaches: Justin Roe is in his second season as head men's tennis coach at Earlham. He led the Quakers to an 11-10 record last season and a berth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament finals. Jessica Cunningham is in her fifth season at Georgetown while Johann St. John is in his first year at Berea.

The Players: Sophomore Vitalii Stadnyk, the reigning HCAC Player of the Week, finished 7-1 over the spring break trip to Florida. Fellow sophomore Vojislav Tatarevic has won seven singles and seven doubles matches this season.
