Men's Tennis Blanks MSJ 9-0


RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's tennis team improved to 10-8 overall with its fourth consecutive Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) win, a 9-0 sweep of Mount St. Joseph University on Wednesday.

Senior Jack Ventura-Cruess and sophomore Vitalii Stadnyk improved to 14-4 on the season with an 8-1 win at first doubles. The Quakers won second doubles 8-0 and won third doubles via walkover.

Stadnyk and freshman Nicola Manni won their first and third singles matches respectively each by scores of 6-1, 6-1. Freshman Adarsh Singh defeated Ian Stutz 6-1, 6-0 at second singles.

Sophomores Adam Schwartz and Vojislav Tatarevic won fourth and fifth singles respectively without surrendering a game. Earlham won sixth singles via walkover.

Earlham is 4-0 in the HCAC and has a quick turnaround as it faces Manchester University at home at 4:30 p.m. at tomorrow (Thursday).
