AGAINST THE BERRY VIKINGS
Earlham captured no. 2 (Aitor Zerdilas-Herrera/Jason Lawson) and no. 3 (Nicola Manni/Niko Trikkas-Psomas) doubles to open the match, taking a 2-1 lead into singles play. Zerdilas-Herrera and Aleksandr Sergeev won their matches at no. 1 and no. 2 singles respectively, both in straight sets.
Lawson recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win over Berry's Ben Knight at no. 5 singles to clinch the win.
AGAINST THE GEORGETOWN TIGERS
Zerdilas-Herrera and Lawson teamed up to give the Quakers their only win in doubles play – a victory at no. 3 doubles over Cale McCreary and Josh Pianti.
Zerdilas-Herrera recorded his fourth victory of the day with a straight-sets win at no. 1 singles, but Lawson's triumph at no. 4 singles would be Earlham's only other victory of the day.
The Quakers will have nearly two weeks to prepare for their next match on Wednesday, March 27, at Huntington College.
