OBERLIN, Ohio – Earlham College sophomore Austin Burt was the Quakers' top runner during Saturday's Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble.
Burt finished the 8K course in 25:54.1 and was 59th overall out of 339 individuals, 58th in points. Junior Noah Scherf was close behind Burt in 62nd place, 61st in points, with a time of 25:55.3. Sophomore Cade Orchard clocked a 26:12.3 and was 91st overall, 89th in points.
Earlham finished the meet with 543 points and was 20th out of 39 teams in the meet. Berea College won the event with 75 points, placing four runners among the top 20 individual finishers.
Saturday's Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble was Earlham's final tune-up before the HCAC Cross Country Championships, which will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, in Terre Haute, Ind.
