RICHMOND, Ind. – Becca Joseph, a former women's lacrosse standout at Wittenberg University, has joined the Earlham College women's lacrosse program as an assistant coach, it was announced Thursday by Head Coach Lindsey Grundfast.

"Becca was a gifted attacker during her collegiate playing career, and the opportunity for our young team to learn from someone with her proven abilities should show immediate dividends during our upcoming 2019 season," said Grundfast. "We are extremely happy to have Becca join our women's lacrosse family, and I am excited to have her help us further develop as a team!"

Joseph was a three-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree at Wittenberg, including a First Team All-NCAC selection in 2015 (sophomore year) and 2016 (junior year). She earned All-Great Lakes Region honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in 2016, after finishing the season with 51 goals and 36 assists.

Joseph completed her career at Wittenberg as the Tigers' career leader in points (328) and assists (138), and second among Witt career goals leaders with 190.

She also graduated with the Wittenberg single season assists record of 52 in 2017 as a senior, and she is tied for the single season points record of 96 also set in 2017. Joseph's final three seasons as a Tiger account for three of the top four single season points totals in program history.

In addition to playing women's lacrosse at Wittenberg, Joseph served as a manager for the Tiger football team where she was responsible for field set-up and equipment maintenance.

Joseph comes to Earlham from Ohio State, where she worked on the event management staff for the Buckeyes while pursuing her master's degree in sports management. She has also worked for the Toledo Mud Hens baseball team (2014-15) as a sales associate in the team store, and for Equity Planning Group (2016) assisting with client relations on 401k plans.

Joseph received her bachelor's degree from Wittenberg in 2017 with a double major in sport management and business. While at Wittenberg, Joseph was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, and was inducted into both the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Student-Athlete Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society.
