RICHMOND, Ind.- Women's soccer suffered a 4-1 loss at home to the Franklin Grizzlies.
Franklin only struck once in the first half at 26th minute of play. In the first half the Grizzlies took 10 shots and seven corner kicks. They also played extremely physically accruing eight fouls in the half. Still, the Quaker defense held them to only one goal.
Franklin scored another goal two minutes into the second half. Earlham's Hailey Beel scored the sole goal for the Quakers unassisted in the 50th minute. After that Franklin would score two more goals, ending the game 4-1.
Through the game Earlham took three shots on goal while Franklin took 11. Quaker goalkeeper Raven McCree had seven saves.
Women's soccer will have their last home game and senior day on Wednesday, October 24 against Defiance.
