Women's Tennis Ends Winless Streak

RICHMOND, Indiana – The Earlham College women's tennis team ended its winless streak of 32 matches this Friday with a 9-0 victory over the University of Miami Middletown.

The Quakers started off with singles play when junior Yunjoo Shin and freshman Alexandra Canaday took the court and won in their college debuts at second and third singles respectively. Senior Arrita Domi edged out her opponent at first singles winning 6-3, 6-4.

In doubles, Domi teamed up with Canaday to complete the sweep with an 8-3 victory at first doubles. Fourth through sixth singles as well as second and third doubles were won by default.

The Quakers will be back in action this Sunday against Trine University.
