Women's Tennis Hosts Trine University

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team hosts Trine University this Sunday. The match is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. 

The Teams: Earlham and Trine. The Quakers are coming off an impressive 9-0 victory in their season opener. The Thunder fell to Grace College (IN) 6-3 in their first match.

The Coaches: Shawn Hyden is in his second season as head women's tennis coach at Earlham. In his first season with the program, Hyden led the men's team to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Tournament finals for the first time since the 2014-2015 season. This season Hyden led the women's team to their first victory since the 2014-2015 season. Erin Kolar is the third year head coach for Trine.

The Players:  Junior Yunjoo Shin and freshman Alexandra Canaday picked up victories in their college debuts this Friday. Arrita Domi started her senior season strong with a victory at first singles this Friday as well.

The History: Last season the Thunder defeated the Quakers 9-0.
