Women’s tennis upended at IU-East in crosstown matchup

RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College women's tennis had a set-back in its final non-conference match for the fall, dropping a 9-0 decision to crosstown neighbor I.U.-East on Thursday evening at Glen Miller Park Tennis Courts.

The Quakers' closest match in doubles came at no. 3 flight, where Alexandra Swank and Tsitsi Makufa lost, 8-3, to the Red Wolves' Brooklyn Hubbard and Shelby Good.

In singles' play, Anna Hahn put up the toughest challenge with her match at no. 1 singles, eventually dropping a 6-0, 6-4 decision to Thais Mendez.

Earlham will travel to Anderson University on Saturday, Oct. 6, to face the Ravens. Match time is slated for 12:00 p.m.
