Women’s tennis stumbles at Mount St. Joseph

CINCINNATI, Ohio – Earlham College women's tennis dropped an 8-1 decision on the road at Mount St. Joseph, in a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match on Saturday at the Western Tennis Club.

The Quakers' lone point in the match game at no. 3 singles, where Alex Swank required a super-tiebreak before prevailing 6-2, 6-7, 10-8 over the Lions' Jessica Berger. Abby Stewart gave a tough challenge to MSJ's Katie Fellinger before falling, 6-4, 6-3, at no. 2 singles.

Earlham women's tennis returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when it travels to Terre Haute, Ind., to face Rose-Hulman in a 6:00 p.m. match.
