RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College senior Aishat Sadiq was named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2019 All-Great Lakes Region outdoor track and field team in both the 100m and 200m, when the association announced its all-region teams on Sunday.
Sadiq has the second-best 100m time in the Great Lakes region with her mark of 12.14 seconds at the Georgia Tech Invitational, which was also a qualifying time for the 2019 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships this week in Geneva, Ohio.
She also had the second-best 200m time in the Great Lakes Region with a time of 25.22 seconds, also posted at the Georgia Tech meet.
Sadiq will compete in the 100m preliminaries at the NCAA outdoor meet on Friday, May 22, at 3:30 p.m.
