RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College football team returned home on Saturday to face Hanover College after two weeks on the road.
Hanover (3-3, 3-1) defeated Earlham 62-0 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Dorian Jenkins (Indianapolis, IN, Arlington) led the Quakers on offense by completing 12-of-23 passes for 104 yards.
Jaysn Murphy (Winchester, IN, Winchester) was the top receiver with five catches for 84 yards.
James Kayhill (Powder Springs, GA, Hillgrove) and
Woody Earls (New Lebanon, OH, Dixie) had three grabs each.
Defensively,
Aaron Barth (Springfield, OH, Springfield Shawnee) led the Quakers with eight tackles, while
Justin Darden (Muncie, IN, Central) added seven tackles and a pass breakup.
Collin Draine (Trotwood, OH, Trotwood-Madison) also recovered a Hanover fumble and ran 43 yards on the play.
Earlham (0-6, 0-4) visits Defiance College nex Saturday. The HCAC game gets underway at 1:30 p.m.
