Bias Incident Response Protocol
The term’ bias related’ refers to any manner of communication, verbal or visual, or any behavior which demonstrates bias against persons because of, but not limited to, their actual or perceived race, ethnicity, age, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, and veteran status, among other distinctions and attributes.
At Earlham College, we take the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff very seriously. Prospective Student-Athletes
First-year and transfer students are required to make a FREE NCAA profile once they have deposited their confirmation. Students can create their profile through the
NCAA Eligibility Center.

Incoming Transfers
- If you are looking to transfer to Earlham, please have your current institution’s compliance officer send a release to Steve Sakosits at sakosst@earlham.edu.
- Must have been academically and athletically eligible at previous institution.
Outgoing Transfers
PLEASE make sure a release is granted prior to speaking with a new institution. Student-athletes risk their eligibility by not being released from their current institution first.
Current Student-Athletes
EligibilityÂ
- Credits: Must be enrolled in at least 12 credits. Always add a class first to be at or above 12 credits, then drop.
- Academic Progress and Eligibility (Link): Student-athletes are ineligible for competition if they reach ‘final probation’.
