Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The season came to an end on Saturday for the Earlham College football team as the Quakers dropped a 53-15 decision to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
The Quakers celebrated Senior Day prior to the Battle of the Borders Broadsword and Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Justin Darden, Ryan Hayes, Bryan James, Kaleb Lingg, Nate McCormack and Nathan Wallace were honored for their careers at Earlham.

Tre Stephens led the Earlham offense with 117 yards rushing, while Matt Couch completed 21-of-42 passes for 166 yards.
Leslie Dunlap led the way for the Quakers with six catches for 68 yards. Lance Sherwood had five grabs for 34 yards.
Jalen Kenner extended his Earlham season records for receptions and receiving yards. Kenner had five catches for 36 yards to finish the fall with 73 receptions for 979 yards.
Earlham scored in the second and fourth quarters.
In the second period, Cody Miller scored on a 1-yard run to cap an 11-play, 68-yard drive. Following the touchdown, John Hood's extra point attempt was blocked, but an alert Kenner picked up the ball and raced to the end zone for a two-point conversion.
A fake punt in the fourth period led to Lajay Kelly running 76 yards for the final Earlham touchdown of the season. This time Hood's PAT was good.
Lingg led the Earlham defense with 13 tackles as he ended the fall as the Quakers top performer in that category with 107 for the season.
D'Hari Curtis-Webster also had 13 stops, while Kelly had 10 tackles including a pair of quarterback sacks. Kollin Wheat finished with 10 tackles.
The Quakers finish at 2-8 overall and 1-7 in the conference. Rose-Hulman ends at 7-3 and 7-1 in the HCAC, which gives the Engineers a share of the conference title with Franklin College.
