Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. – The DePauw University running game proved to be too much for the Earlham College football team as the Quakers dropped a 53-0 decision at Darrell Beane Stadium on Saturday night.
The Tigers (1-0) ran for 375 yards on 54 carries. Jason Kirchhoff led the way for DePauw with 131 yards and two touchdowns on 11 rushes.

The Quakers' biggest offensive play of the game came midway through the fourth quarter when sophomore quarterback Wesley Hundley connected with freshman wide receiver Elijah Bilil on a 40-yard pass on third and 32. The drive stalled, however, as junior Malik Reid was stopped a yard short of the line to gain of fourth and three.
Senior wide receiver Jalen Kenner and sophomore wide receiver each caught four passes for 31 and 35 yards respectively. Freshman running back Sam Panton rushed for 37 yards on nine carries.
Defensively, junior Lajay Kelly led Earlham with 11 tackles with nine of them unassisted. The Carson, Calif., native also added the Quakers' lone sack.
Earlham dips to 0-2 on the season and opens Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) next week at home against the Manchester Spartans. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
