RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College football team passed for 391 yards, but the Ravens of Anderson University netted 446 total yards in a 31-14 win over the Quakers on a rain-filled afternoon at Darrell Beane Stadium on Saturday.

Earlham received the opening kickoff and drove into the Anderson red zone, but a fumble from Malik Lawrence-Reid ended the Quakers' scoring threat. The Ravens took advantage, driving 69 yards for the game's opening touchdown.

The Quakers next drive ended with three incomplete passes, and Anderson scored once again as Roberson-Miller found pay dirt from a yard out.

After a missed field goal from the Ravens opened the second quarter, the Earlham offense pull a trick out of its bag. Sophomore Marcaus Cooper, the Quakers' top receiving threat, took a handoff fired a pass to junior wide receiver Wesley Hundley down the near sideline. Hundley caught it in stride and scampered 69 yards for an Earlham touchdown. Early in the second quarter, freshman punter Jordan Christian bombed an 83-yard punt, breaking the 49-year old record of Sam Hogenaur's 79 yard punt during the 1967 season.

The Ravens would a touchdown with under a minute to play and take a 21-7 lead into halftime.

Anderson was the only team to score in the third quarter as Robertson-Miller ran it in from 17 yards out for his second score of the day. The Ravens would add a field goal at the beginning of the fourth quarter to lead 31-7 before sophomore quarterback Treylon Anderson found fellow sophomore Elijah Bilal for a 16-yard touchdown and the final score of the game.

Treylon Anderson finished with 322 yards through the air and one touchdown. Cooper had his one completion for 69 yards and a touchdown to go along with five receptions for 116 yards. Hundley led the Quakers with 11 receptions for 163 yards and a touchdown.

Anderson's quarterback finished with 238 yards and one touchdown. Roberson Miller and Niquille Belle combined for 165 yards on the ground.

Earlham committed three turnovers compared to one for Anderson.

The Quakers, having lost their Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) opener to Anderson, are 0-3 on the season. Earlham will have a bye week before hosting Defiance College at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.
