RICHMOND – The Earlham College women's tennis team fell to crosstown-rival Indiana University East 9-0 on Saturday afternoon. 

Maddie Cherry contested the No.1 singles spot, and took her second set to extra points with a 6-2, 7-6 loss. Cherry also teamed up with Saki Takizawa at No.1 doubles with an 8-1 loss.

The Quakers will be back in action on Saturday at Asbury University.
