CARMEL, Ind. – On Wednesday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the weekly HCAC Golfers of the Week. Earning the nod this week was Earlham College freshman Vassily Lombard for his performance at the Bluffton Invitational.

After weather brought an early end to the first day of competition, Lombard led the Quakers on day two with an 18-hole score of 71. Lombard earned a third-place finish individually, and helped the Quakers to a sixth-place team finish. His score was one under par at Hidden Creek Country Club.

This is the first weekly honor of Lombard's young career. 

Earlham will continue its spring season next week at the DIII Showcase in French Lick Ind.
