RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's tennis team fell to Capital University 6-1 on Saturday afternoon in the Gene Hambrick Varsity Tennis Court.
Originally scheduled for 11 am, the match was pushed back to 1 pm due to inclement weather in Richmond.
Nathen Peck earned the sole win for the Quakers at No.2 singles. Peck took his opponent to three games, with a score of 5-7, 6-3, 1-0.
Dev Agrawal went to three games at No.1 singles, but was defeated 4-6, 6-3, 1-0.
At No.1 doubles, the pair fell 8-6.
Rio Obe and
Simon Hoover were defeated at No.2 doubles 8-7.
The Quakers will be back in action next weekend, welcoming Manchester University to campus on Saturday.
