NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team concluded its outdoor season at the HCAC Championship meet hosted by Manchester University on Saturday.
The women's team scored 19 points to finish in ninth place.
Amari Bradford finished in third place for All-Conference honors in the triple jump with a mark of 9.73 meters (31' 11.25"). She also scored in the long jump with a leap of 4.7 meters (15' 5").
Chloe Cook ran a personal best 1:03.22 in the 400 meter prelims to qualify for the final. On Saturday, the freshman ran a 1:05.45 to finish in fifth place.
Alexis Gibson finished in sixth place in the javelin after throwing 33.5 meters (109; 11"). She also scored a seventh-place finish in the discus throw with a personal best heave of 34.46 meters (113').
Cook and Bradford joined with
Katelyn Trotto and
Akiko Tajima to score seventh place in the women's 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:34.7.
