RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College tennis teams hosted Franklin College for HCAC action on Saturday at the Gene Hambrick Varsity Tennis Courts.
WOMEN'S TENNIS: EARLHAM 4 FRANKLIN 5
Maddie Cherry and
Elizabeth Hoff won for the Quakers at No.1 doubles 8-2 to start things off.
Cherry also won at No.1 singles 6-1, 6-1.
Payton Dugan won No.2 singles 6-1, 6-0, and
Natalee McCann won No.4 singles 6-0, 6-3.
Madison Ruwersma and
Sarah Tierney came close at No.3 doubles with an 8-7 (7-0) loss.
MEN'S TENNIS: EARLHAM 0 FRANKLIN 9
Dev Agrawal and
Nathen Peck battled at No.1 doubles, with an 8-5 loss.
Agrawal took his No.1 singles match to a third set with a 6-4, 7-6, 10-2 loss.
The Quakers will host Rose-Hulman tomorrow for an 11 am match.
