ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team fell to Anderson University 5-4 in the opening round of the HCAC Tournament on Tuesday evening.
Maddie Cherry took a win at No.1 singles for the Quakers at a 6-2, 6-4 final score. At No.2 singles,
Payton Dugan won 6-3, 6-1.
Cherry partnered with
Elizabeth Hoff for an 8-4 win at No.1 doubles, while Dugan teamed up with
Natalee McCann for an 8-3 win at No.2 doubles.
The Quakers conclude their season with a 5-14 record, and a sixth-place finish in the HCAC standings.
