NEW CONCORD, Ohio – The Earlham College cross country team continued its season at the Daniel Mullen Memorial Invitational on Saturday at Muskingum University.
Cleo Saltz won the women's 6k race, clocking a finishing time of 25:52.6 to lead the field by nearly a minute. Serenity Marce also finished in 27th place for the Quaker women.
Khairullah Habibi led the men's squad with a time of 37:36.4 in the 8k race. Earlham scored five men for the first time this season, tying for third place with Wheeling as a team.
Carlos Rojas and
Omar Zaher finished in 17th and 18th places respectively, separated by just 50 seconds on course. Anthony Okafor rounded out the Quaker lineup competing in his first ever 8k race with a 22nd-place finish.
The Quakers will compete next at the JennaStrong Fall Classic on October 17th at Wilmington College. The women's 5k race is scheduled to start at 4 pm.
