Stacey Goyette enters her fourth season leading the Quakers in 2027.

Earlham softball took its leap forward in year three, scoring the HCAC Tournament Championship and representing the conference in the NCAA Regional Tournament. The Quakers posted a 26-19 record in the regular season, and a 13-5 conference mark. After entering the tournament as the No.3 seed in the standings, Earlham scored wins over Bluffton, Franklin and Transylvania before claiming the championship on a walk-off hit by Malaya Tanglao against the Pioneers on the final day of competition. The Quakers went on to compete in the Angola Regional hosted by Trine University. Bo Shelton was named HCAC Player of the Year after leading the conference in home runs. Mack Harvey and Macie Ferguson joined Shelton on the first team All-HCAC. Shelby Hill and Morgan Cooksey earned second team honors.

The Quaker record reversed in year two with a 25-16 overall record and an 11-7 conference record. Earlham took down top-seeded Franklin College in two games in Ellie Bewley Stadium, and upset Mount St. Joseph on the road in the final weekend of competition. The Quakers went into the conference tournament as the third seed. Morgan Cooksey earned a second consecutive all-conference honor, while Tatum Rickert placed on the first team.

In the softball program's first year back on campus, Goyette led the team to a 15-26 overall record. An 8-10 conference mark saw the Quakers qualify for the HCAC Tournament as the sixth seed. Freshman Bo Shelton earned first team All-HCAC honors while pitcher Morgan Cooksey placed on the second team.

Goyette brings experience ranging from NCAA Division I through high school and travel softball. She most recently has served as an assistant coach with Butler University as the pitching coach. With the Bulldogs, Goyette has been a part of three Big East Conference tournament teams (2017, 2021, 2022). The Bulldogs recorded a record of 31-17 in 2022 and finished in second place in the conference regular season standings.

Goyette's pitchers have enjoyed success in competition under her guidance. Alyssa Graves was named a unanimous Big East Pitcher of the Year by the conference in 2022. She recorded an ERA of 1.12 in conference games and held her opponents to a .164 batting average with a 10-0 record. Goyette's pitchers recorded the lowest ERA and ranked in the top two for strikeouts in the Big East Conference for both 2020 and 2021.

Before rejoining her alma mater in 2016, Goyette was the head softball coach of Shenandoah High School in Middletown, Ind. where she served for six years. In 2014, her squad won the IHSSA sectionals.

A graduate of Butler University, Goyette earned a plethora of awards as a player on the diamond. In 1993, Goyette was named first team All-MCC and placed on the MCC tournament team after leading the conference in batting average and doubles for the season. She was named to the conference second team in 1992 and had the highest batting average of the Bulldogs that season.
