LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Earlham College volleyball team started its journey into three states over the next four days with a 25-21, 25-18, 25-17 loss at
Transylvania University on Wednesday night.
Ramona Hemmings led the Quakers with seven kills, while
Keeley McAnnis-Entenman and
Nikki Darrett added five kills each. Darrett finished with eight digs.
Alicia Kees topped the Earlham squad with 10 assists with
Ashlee Heberger contributed six assists.
Elizabeth Ross led Earlham with four blocks and Hemmings added three.
Earlham (3-17, 1-5 in the North Coast Athletic Conference) travels to
Hiram College on Friday. The NCAC match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
The Quakers finish their weekend in
Pennsylvania on Saturday with a visit to
Allegheny College for another NCAC contest that starts at 1 p.m.
