Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College men's soccer team surrendered a goal in the second half Tuesday as the Quakers fell 1-0 to the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Matlack Field.

The Engineers scored at the 69:13 mark to take the lead in the season opener for both teams.

Rose-Hulman had an 8-7 edge in shots with a 4-3 margin in corner kicks 5-3. Earlham goalkeeper Jonah Kreniske had four saves for the Quakers.

Earlham (0-1) gets back on Matlack Field Friday against Adrian College in the El Rodeo Classic. The non-conference contest begins at 6 p.m.
